Ten years, holy cow! What a ride. We’ve moved 5 times, had 13 jobs, lived in 4 states, and adopted two kiddos. We have lived in a 1,200 sq ft duplex, his parents unfinished basement, a 900 sq ft and 500 sq ft apartment, a 2,000 sq ft house and then immediately into a 2oo sq ft trailer! WHAT A CRAZY JOURNEY WE HAVE BEEN ON!
The last trip Travis and I had the opportunity to go on was to Savannah, Georgia in 2009 – so this trip to the Olympic Peninsula and the San Juan Islands in Washington was needed for the two of us. The weather was not the best – overcast and cold but, thankfully, it never rained.
Travis proposed to me on San Juan Island in 2006, so for our 10 year we decided to go back to the very spot (literally the exact spot) where he popped the question. We did take pictures, they’re the ones with the Mexican blanket. And…I would say YES! all over again:)
