Hi and Welcome.
I realize this page is supposed to be about me. So, I’ll make it short.
I love God. There are many things that I truly enjoy in life, but He is my everything. He never ceases to amaze me through His creation and teach me through His creation. My prayer is that you are pointed to Him while on this site.
Every time I look through the lens of my camera, I see things that I seem to miss through the business of life. And when looking through my pictures, I find that there is this inexpressible and irrefutable reaction to the overwhelming beauty of what God has made. It’s in His beautiful sunsets and His rolling hills. It’s found in the eyes of my children. It’s in the warmth of my husband’s smile. It really does not matter what is in my frame – I will always find God in there somewhere.
The overall theme of this blog is simplicity. Not that I am suggesting to live less of a life, but to shift where you find your fulfillment, your value and ultimately what you treasure. Simplicity, I believe, reflects the overall nature of God. It is from this belief that my husband and I have chosen to live our lives simplified, or in other words, getting back to the basics; living with less.

Hi Niki,
I stumbled upon your story a while ago when you were going through the downsizing and re-creating process. Your insights stayed in my mind over this last year as my husband and I are now planning to live in a trailer for the next phase of our life. Starting next spring we will be moving every 2-4 months for 1-2 years for my husband’s next training in the Air Force. I just came back to visit your site again, and read your update below about staying in Washington State and possibly not living in Silvia anymore. My husband and I are living in Eastern WA, and I’m wondering if you are thinking of selling Silvia? If so we would be very interested in purchasing her for our home in this next adventure in life. If not, no worries. As you know there are many options in the tiny mobile world 🙂 Hope all is well with you and your family!
